Our Programmes & Projects

Community Health Impact & Outreach

In 2025, the organization successfully implemented a range of community-based interventions designed to improve health outcomes, strengthen primary healthcare
systems, promote gender equity, and enhance access to clean and safe water. These interventions were carefully tailored to address local needs and were implemented in close collaboration with community stakeholders to ensure relevance, effectiveness, and sustainability.
Through these collective efforts, a significant number of individuals and households experienced measurable improvements in their quality of life across multiple locations.

Education & Community Outreach

“Education is the foundation upon which dreams are built. It empowers individuals to rise above limitations, break cycles of poverty, and create opportunities where none previously existed.”
In 2025, CEDSI extended her reach into a number secondary schools in neighbouring communities. As part our outreach efforts, we assessed school libraries, donated books and reading materials, organised quiz and debate competitions, set up “Green Teams” to oversee ecological projects, among other activities.

Health Facility Support

The organisation provides targeted health support to Primary Health Centres (PHCs) to strengthen service delivery and improve access to essential healthcare services at the community level. This support focuses on enhancing the capacity of health facilities to deliver timely, affordable, and quality care, particularly for vulnerable populations. Through these interventions, supported health facilities have been better equipped to respond to common health challenges, reduce service gaps, and improve overall patient outcomes.

Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Interventions

In 2025, the organization implemented targeted Gender-Based Violence (GBV) prevention and response interventions aimed at protecting vulnerable populations and promoting safer, healthier communities. These activities focused on awareness creation, prevention, and community engagement, with particular attention to the intersection between GBV, public health, and social well-being. GBV awareness sessions were conducted with a strong emphasis on gender-based violence education, helping community members understand the health, social, and psychological consequences of violence and discrimination.
